Well-known American technology company Apple has shut down its activity-tracking app of Instagram users.
After receiving the money the ‘LikePetrol‘ provides Instagram users the information of all their friends activities, likes and add-ons via notifications. After being accused of stealing consumer information without consent from Instagram, the app in the Apple Store was asked to close. The ‘LikePetrol‘ app was banned from the Apple Store but the owner ‘Sergio Louis’ said that the app does not violate Apple’s policy. We will appeal the decision of banning it. The ‘LikePetrol‘ app was only offered on the Apple Store in the month of July and users using this app were required to pay $80 a year for the services.
